alternativa a "programma giovanile"
*settore giovanile* (usato anche in altri sport) per indicare le attività di preparazione agonistica rivolte alle nuove leve
nel tuo esempio è riferito a sport nautici (royal yacht squadron)

What does the Youth Programme involve?
It's basically a miniature of the RYA Olympic programme. It includes the coaching, managing and physiology of youth sailors aged between 14 and 18 depending on their physical condition.
The youth squad sail in 29ers, 420s, Lasers, Laser Radials and Hobie 16s. They train and are tested in these classes and then race in regattas the following season.
The top sailors in the Youth programme are potential Olympians; we have a number who have won medals in Youth World Championships in various classes. Approximately three to five sailors will progress to the Olympic Development programme directly from the Youth programme, a few more will make it in a year or twos time as they mature and develop. Obviously not all the sailors in the Youth programme will succeed in a career in sailing, most will remain highly competent sailors who compete at a high level for the enjoyment of sailing, some will move on to non Olympic sailing such as ocean racing and compete at a high level others will choose non Olympic class dinghy racing
