More info still needed John, an abbreviation like this could mean a hundred and one things. The way to narrow down the options in a situation like this is to do a search with as many relevant and specific pieces of information as possible in the search string, especially the name of the company that issued the invoice, preferably also the type of engineering services. That will give people at least some chance of finding similar invoices with more details on them, maybe including the answer you're looking for.

At the moment, we don't even know which country this is. Unless you give more info, the most you can hope for is vague guesses, which could easily be wrong. That's the way it is with abbreviations, they're tricky because they can mean a lot of different things! The only way to disambiguate is to search for them together with relevant info, the more the better.
