English to German Bus/Financial Transport / Transportation / Shipping Freight Agreement

Es geht immer noch um die Frachtvereinbarung. Für den Begriff "attachment notice" ist mir bisher noch nichts Vernünftiges eingefallen. Der Text lautet wie folgt:

"In the event of damages, XX shall inform YY of the nature of the damages in writing as soon as possible. Any supporting photographs and documents shall be appended to the claim. The limitation of liability is agreed on according to *attachment notice* and limitation of claim. If the consignment is specially insured, the respective insurance company shall also be informed of damages."

Der Abschnitt an sich ist völlig klar, nur was hier mit "attachment notice" gemeint ist, ist mir nicht ganz klar. Bezieht sich das auf die beigefügten Unterlagen?
