Japanese term

モニ責(モニタリング責任者)

Japanese to English Medical Medical (general)
モニ責 and(モニタリング責任者)

These two terms are part of a translation about a drug experiment. Do you think these two terms mean the same thing? And do you think it means "Person in charge of monitoring"?

Selected

monitoring manager / monitoring supervisor

I think that "person in charge" can be read as "manager" or "supervisor". Therefore, it maybe smoother to say "monitoring manager" or "monitoring supervisor".

...and yes, I think モニ責 and モニタリング責任者 are the same thing; it's a simplified version.

Monitoring supervisor (or person-in-charge)

モニ責 is a simplified version of モニタリング責任者
Note from asker:
Thank you so much. I only picked the other person because they answered first. Yours was a good answer too and thank you for the reference.
