In an 1871 birth record from Krasnosielc, Poland, the title/occupation of the informant and both witnesses is listed as "чинисевникъ". Both occurrences of the word are clearly written, so I'm sure "чиновникъ" wasn't meant. Any ideas what was meant by this term??? I can't find the word anywhere...

Based on the Polish word "czynszownik" [чиншовник] meaning "арендатор" and probably distorted when written in Russian.
