My train of thought:
Diaspora in the sense of near-abroad combined with diasporic linguistic influence. A Russian abroad is, by definition a near-abroad or a Russian sphere of influence. Influence in the sense of linguistic influence and therefore a diaspora of Russian linguistics and culture. Therefore: Russian diaspora
