Editing Portal Users
The contact's portal account details (Portal Name, Password, Portal Active) can be edited via the Contacts record view. You can change the user's portal name, update their password, or disable access to the portal by updating the specific field(s) in the record view. To change the portal password, simply click the Change password link below the Password field, then enter the new password and confirmed password into the open text box.

Please note that you will only be able to edit contact records as allowed by your team membership, user access type, and assigned roles. For more information on teams and roles, please refer to the Team Management and Role Management documentation in the Administration guide.
In addition, registered portal users are able to update their contact information via their user profile in the portal. This allows customers to keep their contact information up-to-date and make any changes as necessary. If the user's portal password needs to be updated, it can be done via the user profile as well.
Note: Any changes made to the user profile will be reflected in Sugar as well.

Managing Cases
1. The Sugar Portal allows customers to create and track their open cases, as well as communicate with the assigned support representative. Contacts are able to view cases that are associated to their account, meaning that both the contact and case need to be associated to the same account in order for the case to appear in the contact's portal.

In questa vista, aggiornando campi specifici, è possibile modificare nome del portale dell'utente, aggiornare la password o disabilitare l'accesso al portale.
Per modificare la password del portale, basta fare clic sul collegamento Cambia Password sotto al campo Password, per poi inserire la nuova password e la password di conferma nelle rispettive caselle di testo.

La modifica dei record di contatto è consentita solo in base all'appartenenza al team, al tipo di accesso utente e ai ruoli assegnati all'utente corrente.

Inoltre, gli utenti del portale registrati possono aggiornare le proprie informazioni di contatto dal profilo utente sul portale.
In questo modo i clienti mantengono le informazioni di contatto aggiornate e apportano eventuali modifiche necessarie in autonomia.
Anche la modifica della password del portale per l'utente può avvenire dal profilo utente.
Nota: ogni modifica apportata al profilo utente viene replicata anche su Sugar.

Gestione dei casi
1. Sugar Portal permette ai clienti di creare e tenere traccia dei casi aperti, oltre a consentire di comunicare con il rappresentante di supporto assegnato. I contatti sono in grado di visualizzare i casi associati al loro account, ovvero sia il contatto, sia il caso, devono essere associati allo stesso account affinché il caso compaia sul portale del contatto.
