Source text - Greek 6. Ο Ιδιοκτήτης αναλαμβάνει:
a. Να καταβάλλει όλους τους φόρους και τέλη των τοπικών αρχών και οποιεσδήποτε άλλες φορολογίες, τέλη και έξοδα που επιβάλλονται σχετικά με το Ακίνητο, εκτός όπως προνοείται στον όρο 7 (β) κατωτέρω και
b. Γενικά να αφήνει τον Ενοικιαστή να απολαμβάνει την ήσυχη και ανεμπόδιστη χρήση του Μίσθιου καθ’όλη τη διάρκεια της Περιόδου Ενοικιάσεως και να επιτρέπει στους υπαλλήλους του Ενοικιαστή ή/ και τους νόμιμους αντιπροσώπους του να εισέρχονται στο Ακίνητο από τις κύριες εισόδους του με ειδικά κλειδιά ούτως ώστε να είναι ανεμπόδιστη η πρόσβαση τους στο Μίσθιον μόνο κατά τις ώρες λειτουργίας του κτηρίου, οποιεσδήποτε ώρες παρίσταται ανάγκη και κατά την απόλυτη κρίση του Ενοικιαστή. Επιπρόσθετα αναλαμβάνει να ασκεί τον ίδιο έλεγχο στην πρόσβαση τρίτων στην οροφή του Ακίνητου για σκοπούς ασφάλειας και προστασίας του φωτοβολταϊκου συστήματος που ασκεί για την ασφαλή προστασία της δικής του περιουσίας.
7. Ο Ενοικιαστής αναλαμβάνει:
a. Να καταβάλλει το εν λόγω ενοίκιο σύμφωνα με τον όρο (5) ως ανωτέρω.
b. Να καταβάλλει όλους τους φόρους και τέλη των τοπικών αρχών και οποιεσδήποτε άλλες φορολογίες, τέλη και έξοδα σχετικά με το Μίσθιον που επιβάλλονται για την κατοχή και χρήση του Μίσθιου.
c. Να χρησιμοποιεί το Μίσθιον χωρίς την πρόκληση οποιασδήποτε οχληρίας πέραν του λογικού ορίου, κινδύνου, ανησυχίας ή σκανδάλου.
d. Να μην υπενοικιάσει ή εκχωρήσει το Μίσθιον ή οποιοδήποτε μέρος αυτού σε οποιοδήποτε τρίτο μέρος χωρίς την προηγούμενη γραπτή συγκατάθεση του ιδιοκτήτη, ο οποίος δεν θα αρνείται παράλογα να τη δώσει.
e. Να λαμβάνει τα αναγκαία μέτρα ασφαλείας και προστασίας του Μίσθιου.
f. Να επιδιορθώνει ή καταβάλλει την αξία της επιδιόρθωσης ζημιών που ήθελαν προκύψει στο κτίριο από την εγκατάσταση και/ ή απομάκρυνση άλλου υλικού και/ ή από την χρήση των εγκαταστάσεων του.
8. Ο Ενοικιαστής δικαιούται να προβαίνει με δικά του έξοδα σε όσες μετατροπές και/ ή τροποποιήσεις και /ή προσθήκες στο Μίσθιον θεωρήσει αναγκαίες για την επίτευξη του σκοπού του όπως περιγράφεται στον όρο (3) ανωτέρω, χωρίς την προηγούμενη γραπτή συγκατάθεση του ιδιοκτήτη. Περαιτέρω και άνευ επηρεασμού της γενικότητας του παρόντος όρου, ο Ενοικιαστής έχει το δικαίωμα να εγκαταστήσει, με δικά του έξοδα και αν το κρίνει σκόπιμο, δικό του σύστημα τηλε-παρακολούθησης για σκοπούς προστασίας και σωστής λειτουργίας του σύστηματος.
Translation - English 6. The Owner undertakes:
a. To pay all the taxes and fees of the local authorities and any other taxes, fees and expenses which are required in relation to the Property, unless as provided for in article 7 (b) hereinbelow and
b. Generally, to allow the Tenant to enjoy the quiet and unobstructed use of the Tenement throughout the Tenancy Period and to allow the employees and/or the legal representatives of the Tenant to enter the Property by its main entrances with special keys so that their access to the Tenement will be unobstructed only during the working hours of the building, at any time when it becomes necessary and at the absolute judgement of the Tenant. In addition, he undertakes to exercise the same control as regards the access of third parties to the roof of the Property for security purposes and for the protection of the solar system as he exercises for the secure protection of his own property.
7. The Tenant undertakes:
a. To pay the said rent according to article 5 hereinabove.
b. To pay all the taxes and fees requested by the local authorities and any other taxes, fees and expenses relating to the Tenement that are demanded for the possession and use of the Tenement.
c. To use the Tenement without causing any disturbance above a reasonable level, danger, alarm or indignity.
d. Not to sublet or relinquish the Tenement or any part thereof to any third party without previously obtaining the written consent of the owner, who will not unreasonably refuse to grant it.
e. To take all necessary security and protection measures as regards the Tenement.
f. To repair or pay the cost of repairing damages that may come up in the building because of the installation and/or removal of any other material and/or because of using its facilities.
8. The Tenant is entitled to make, at his own cost, any alterations and/or modifications and/or additions to the Tenement as he may consider necessary for achieving his purpose as described in article (3) hereinabove, without the previous written consent of the Owner. Furthermore and with no prejudice to the generality of the present article, the Tenant has the right to install, at his own cost and if he deems it advisable, his own close-circuit television system for the purposes of protection and proper function of the system.

For the past ten years, in the course of my work as a lawyer I have translated court documents, legal documents, EU and local legislation, technical manuals and non-specialist documents to and from English and Greek.
As a freelance translator I have translated various types of documents in a wide range of areas, mostly concentrating on legal documents.
I'm very particular about the words I use, in both languages, as sometimes the word or phrase that most fits the meaning in the target language doesn't exactly correspond to the word or phrase in the source language. That's a simple principle in translating that can sometimes be forgotten.
I have worked in drafting legislation in the Greek language, based on EU legislation, for which accuracy in both meaning and phraseology was very important.
