Source text - English Tournaments are played by a group of participants, all paying a fixed entry fee (buy-in) and a fee for the hosting of the tournament into a pool. This pool is used to pay the winner(s). There is no rake in tournament hands.
All participants receive the same number of chips and play until they’ve won all the other participants chips – or until they’ve lost all their own. The number of initial chips may vary from tournament to tournament but is typically 1,500.
The tournament winner is he/she who finishes the game with all the participants' chips.
Multi-Table Tournaments
Tournaments are played on multiple tables simultaneously, unless the tournament happens to be very small in numbers. When participants are ‘knocked-out’ of the tournament, players are moved to other tables to keep numbers balanced and games more enjoyable. When enough seats are free a whole table will be removed, until only one table remains.
Qualifying tournaments “Satellites”
Big tournaments can be accessed through qualifier satellite tournaments.
In the qualifier tournament, instead of cash prizes, the winner is awarded qualification (buy-in) to another tournament. No additional fee is required.
The number of qualifiers varies depending on the different types of tournaments.
”Free to Enter” (Free Rolls) and “Guarantied prize” tournaments
A free-roll tournament is a tournament with prize money, which is absolutely free to enter.
Guarantied prize tournament are tournaments with prize money added by us on top of the regular prize pool. This is a bonus for the participating players. The added cash can be distributed between all the cash winners, or sometimes only to the players in pole position.
Sit & Go
As well as scheduled tournaments, we offer "Sit & Go" tournaments, single table tournaments normally with 10 players. A Sit & Go tournament will start as soon as all the seats are filled and the prize pool is fixed.
Re-buy and Add-on
During a tournament, if you run out of chips, you’re usually knocked out of the game. In some tournaments, however, you’re allowed to request another buy-in to get more chips when you run out.
Re-buys are limited though – both in number (e.g. once in a tournament, depending on the tournament set up) and in time (only within the first hour). The re-buy will affect the prize money and it is therefore not possible to make a re-buy after the first winning person has been knocked out.
An add-on is a special re-buy available at the very end of a re-buy period. The add-on is available for all players, regardless of how many chips they have left.
Hand by Hand
At the end of a multi table tournament, hand by hand play is adopted. This means that a new hand at a table will not be played until the current hand at all tables is finished – to ensure all tables are played at the same pace.
Blind bets increase
To compensate for increasing chip amounts as players are eliminated, and to ensure the tournaments will come to an end, the blind bets will continuously increase. This occurs either after a number of played hands, or with specified time intervals.
Registering
Players may register directly at a single table Sit & Go Tournament by going to the table. For scheduled tournaments, players may either register from the poker software by going to the specific tournament homepage, or via the website.
Tournament structure
• Single-Table Tournaments
The prize structure for a standard Sit & Go single tournament is as follows:
1st place is 50% of prize pool
2nd place is 30% of prize pool
3rd place is 20% of prize pool
All prizes are also minus your initial buy-in, e.g. for a $10 1 buy-in tournaments 2nd place prize is $30 - $11 = $19.
• Multi-Table Tournament
For multi-table tournaments the structures vary depending on the tournament. See each tournament for details.
Tournament rules
1. Tournaments will begin according to schedules. Should a player fail to be logged in at the time the tournament commences, he or she may forfeit their space at the table.
2. It’s not possible to change seats during a tournament, except when part of the tournament table balancing.
3. In a Multi Table Tournament, the seats are assigned randomly. At a single table tournament the player may select his or her own seat.
4. During a Multi Table Tournament the button that identifies the dealer is placed at a fixed position, in a Single Table Tournament however, the players high-card to decide who will have the button and act as the dealer.
5. The Tournament will end when one player accumulates all the chips in play.
6. Should two or more players be eliminated on the same hand, the player with more chips at the beginning of the hand will be placed higher. If players started the hands with identical amounts of chips, then both players tie for that rank and any prizes due to those players will be distributed equally amongst them.
7. When players that were supposed to make the blind bets in the next hand are eliminated, there may be players who get a reprieve from one of both blinds due to the fact that the dealer’s position will change anyway.
8. With only two players remaining, the dealer will post the small blind and act first on the opening round.
9. Unethical play, including collusion, may result in disqualification and the termination of the offender’s account.
11. As players are knocked out, the tournament tables will be balanced to ensure all tables have as equal an amount of players as possible. The balancing of tables is done randomly.
12. A bet and three raises are permitted in structured limit tournaments. There is no raise maximum in pot-limit and no-limit tournaments.
13. In the event of a server crash, the tournament will be restarted from the position it was halted. If that’s not possible, the remaining portion of the prize pool will be divided between the remaining players.
14. Prizes will be awarded in accordance with the tournament structure.
15. Players may not discuss a hand until all gaming action is finished.

Il numero di giocatori che si qualificano, varia a seconda del tipo di torneo.
Tornei ad iscrizione gratuita (Free Roll) e tornei con montepremi garantito
Un torneo ad iscrizione gratuita è un torneo con in palio premi in denaro a cui è possibile partecipare gratuitamente.
I tornei con montepremi garantito sono tornei al cui normale montepremi noi aggiungiamo una somma ulteriore. Un bonus per i giocatori che vi partecipano. La somma aggiunta, a seconda dei tornei, può essere divisa tra tutti i giocatori classificati, oppure solo tra i primi.
Sit & Go
Oltre ai normali tornei in calendario, offriamo i tornei "Sit & Go", tornei a tavolo singolo a cui normalmente partecipano 10 giocatori. Questi tornei hanno inizio non appena tutti i posti vengono occupati ed il montepremi è fisso.
Re-buy ed Add-on
Durante un torneo, se un giocatore rimane senza fiches viene automaticamente eliminato. In alcuni tornei, tuttavia, al giocatore è concesso di richiedere altre fiches (re-buy).
I re-buy però hanno dei limiti. È consentito solo un numero limitato di re-buy (per esempio, uno per torneo a seconda dei casi), e solo in determinate fasi del gioco (per esempio, durante la prima ora). I re-buy influiscono sul montepremi, pertanto, non sono consentiti dopo che il primo dei giocatori che hanno diritto ad una parte del montepremi è stato eliminato.

Iscrizioni
Per iscriversi e giocare un torneo Sit & Go i giocatori non devono far altro che andare al tavolo ed iscriversi prima di prendere posto. Per i tornei programmati, i giocatori possono iscriversi dall’interno del software del poker, andando alla pagina dedicata al torneo desiderato, oppure attraverso il sito.
Struttura dei tornei
• Tornei a tavolo singolo
I tornei Sit & Go hanno la seguente struttura:
1° classificato = 50% del montepremi
2° classificato = 30% del montepremi
3° classificato = 20% del montepremi
Al premio deve sottrarsi la quota d’iscrizione, per esempio, in un torneo con iscrizione $10 1, al 2° classificato spettano $30 - $11 = $19.

Regolamento dei tornei
1. I tornei iniziano all’ora indicata. Se un giocatore non è connesso al momento dell’inizio del torneo, potrà perdere il proprio posto al tavolo.
2. Non è possibile cambiare posto durante il torneo, a meno che lo spostamento non sia necessario per bilanciare il numero di giocatori a ciascun tavolo.
3. In un torneo multitavolo i posti sono assegnati a caso. Nei tornei a tavolo singolo al giocatore è permesso scegliere il proprio posto.
4. Durante i tornei multitavolo, il dischetto che identifica il giocatore che fa le veci del mazziere (dealer) è in una posizione prestabilita. Invece, nei tornei a tavolo singolo, per decidere chi fa le vaci del mazziere, i giocatori prendono una carta a testa e chi prende la più alta vince.
5. Il torneo finisce quando un giocatore accumula tutte le fiches degli altri giocatori.
6. Se due o più giocatori vengono eliminati nella stessa mano, il giocatore con il maggior numero di fiches all’inizio della mano ottiene la miglior posizione in classifica. Se due giocatori iniziano la mano con lo stesso numero di fiches, si ha un pareggio ed il premio è diviso in parti uguali.
7. Quando i giocatori che avrebbero dovuto fare il buio nella mano seguente vengono eliminati, è possibile che alcuni giocatori ne ottengano un vantaggio in considerazione del fatto che la posizione del mazziere cambia comunque.
8. Quando rimangono solo due giocatori, il mazziere fa il buio minore ed agisce per primo.
9. Scorrettezze di gioco, inclusa la collusione, potranno portare alla squalifica e chiusura del conto del colpevole.
11. Man mano che i giocatori vengono eliminati, i giocatori rimasti vengono spostati ai tavoli con posti liberi per cercare di mantenere più o meno lo stesso numero di giocatori a ciascun tavolo. Questi spostamenti avvengono in modo casuale.
12. Nei tornei limit il primo turno di puntate è seguito da tre turni di rilanci. Nei tornei pot-limit e no-limit non esiste un limite massimo per i rilanci.
13. Se un torneo è interrotto a causa di problemi con il server, riprenderà da dove si è interrotto. Se ciò non è possibile, i soldi nel piatto al momento dell’interruzione vengono divisi tra i giocatori ancora in gioco.
14. I premi sono distribuiti in base alla struttura del torneo.
15. I giocatori non possono discutere tra loro le mani ancora in corso.
