कई विदेशि यात्रि, जो उच्राय स्थिति में हुआ विजयनगर आए थे, वे राजधानि को विध विध अतिशयोक्तियों में वर्णन किये है. इन्मेंसे निकोलो पोंटी, अब्दुल रज़ाक और दोमिंगो पाइस प्रमुख हैं.
दोमिन्गॊ पाइस १५२९ में विजयनगर में कुच समय बिताय था. क्रिश्नदेवराय को नज़्दीक से देख था. उस्क उस ज़मानेका वर्णन ऐसा है: "इस नगर को एक ही जगह से पूरा नहिं देख पाता. मैं एक पहाद चड कर दॆखा तो, जो देख पाया वह भाग रॊं नगर का विस्तार क था. अगर दुनिया में कॊयी नगर है जिस्में सब सुविधाय़ॆं हो, वो नगर यही है.
पाइस पोर्तुगल का हैं. दुआर्ते बर्बोसा और एक पोतुगल त्रवासि हैं. वह १५१६ में आंकॊ लेख हाल अएसा बयान किय हैं: "इस शहर में लोग रहते हैं. एक तरफ़ खडी खिला, दूस्रि तरफ़ नदि, और एक तरफ़ पहाड हैं. शहर क सडक और चौक विशाल हैं. यहां ओयापार अद्भुत हैं. कईं देशॊंकि, कैई जनांन्गोंकि लोग यहां आके व्यापार में मग्न हॊ जाते हैं. य्हां सब सुरक्शित हैं.
जब संगमा वंशज दॆवराया राज्यभार कर रहे थे तब पर्शिया देश का अब्दुल रज़ाक (१४४२) आके दो साल टेहरा. उस्का विवरण दॆखो:".....दुउखानों की गलि बहुत लम्बे चौडे हैं. रत्न व्यापारि खुल्लम खुल्ला सडकों में वज्र, वैडूर्य और रत्न भेजते हैं."
इटली देश का व्यापारि निकोलो कोन्टि अपनी बयान में कह है, विजयनगर में नब्बे हज़ार आयुध्धारि सैनिक हैं. न्यूनिज़ नामक यत्रि कह है "कलिंग क राजा कपिलॆंन्द्र गजपथि को दॆवराय हराय था. श्रीलंक, पेगु, बर्मा देशों का रजाओं ने विजयनगर का रजा देवराया (१४२४-१४४६) को रजमर्याद करते थे"

Foreign Visitors to Hampi 1424-1520
Many foreign travellers who visited Vijayanagara at its peak. have showered high tributes to it in various ways. Among them Nicolo Konti, Abdul Razaak and Domingo Pais are important.
In 1520 Domingo Pais came to Vijayanagar and stayed for some time. He saw Krishnadevaraya from close quarters. His description of those times is like this: “One cannot see the entire city from one vantage point. It is such a big city. When I climbed a hillock and observed, the part of the city that I saw is as big as Rome. If there is any city with all the amenities, then it is this city.”
Pais is from Portugal. Duarte Barbosa is another Portuguese traveller. In 1516 he has recorded his observations like this: “Many people live in this city. One side the city has strong fort, another side is the river, and yet another side are the mountains. Streets and squares of the city are wide and large. The trade that takes place here is awesome. Here people from many nations, many races engage in trade. Here everyone can be safe.”
When Devaraya belonging to Sangama dynasty was ruling, Abdul Razaak from Persia (1442) came and stayed here for two years. Look at his observation: “…..shopping streets are long and wide. Precious Stone merchants freely trade Diamonds, Gems, Opel and other precious stones.”
Nicolo Ponty, a merchant from Italy, in his explanation says that there are ninety thousand armed soldiers in Vijayanagara. A visitor by name Nunez has said “Kings from Srilanka, Pegu, Burma paid royalties to King Krishnadevaraya of Vijayanagara (1424-1446).”
Foreign Ambassadors, tourists, Historians who saw the glory have vividly describedwhat they saw. In accordance with these descriptions, we can still see the Capital City of Vijayanagara spread over a vast southern mountainous region of river Tungabhadra. Clusters of temples are spread amidst spectacular nature. At places huge boulders themselves form foundation of the structures. The scenery here looks as if Goddess of Art herself is dancing amidst beautiful nature. The art experts who saw this city say “it is difficult to say where the Nature starts, where Art starts.”
An eminent Kannada poet V. Seetharamaiah has authored a beautiful travelogue ‘Pampa Yatre’. Even now foreign tourists come here, stay, appreciate and enjoy the Art supreme here.

ಡೊಮಿಂಗೋ ಪಾಯಿಸ್ ೧೫೨೦ ರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜಯನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಕೆಲವು ಕಾಲ ತಂಗಿದ್ದನು. ಕ್ರುಷ್ಣದೇವರಯನನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರದಿಂದ ನೋಡಿದ್ದನು. ಇವನ ಆಗಿನ ಕಾಲದ ವರ್ಣನೆ ಹೀಗಿದೆ: "ಈ ನಗರವನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಪೂರ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ನೂಡಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ದ ನಗರ. ನಾನು ಒಂದು ಗುಡ್ದ ಹತ್ತಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ನೋಡಿದಷ್ಟು ಭಾಗ ರೋಂ ನಗರದಷ್ಟು ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ನಗರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳಿರುವ ನಗರವೆಂದರೆ ಇದು".
ಪಾಇಸ್ ಪೋರ್ಚುಗಲ್ನವನು. ದುಆರ್ತೆ ಬಾರ್ಬೊಸ ಇನ್ನೊರ್ವ ಪೊರ್ಚುಗಲ್ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ. ಅವನು ೧೫೧೬ ರಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನು ಕಂಡದ್ದನ್ನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೆಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ. "ಈ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ ಜನ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಒಂದು ಕಡೆ ಸುಭದ್ರವಾದ ಕೊಟೆ, ಇನ್ನೋಂದು ಕಡೆ ನದಿ, ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕಡೆ ಗುಡ್ದ ಇವೆ. ನಗರದ ಬೀದಿಗಳು-ಚೌಕಗಳು ವಿಶಾಲವಾಗಿವೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಅದ್ಭುತ. ಹಲವಾರು ದೇಶಗಳ, ಹಲವಾರು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಜನರು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ವ್ಯಪಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿರುರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿರಭಹುದು."
ಸಂಗಮ ಮನೆತನದ ದೆವರಾಯ ಆಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಹಂಪಿಗೆ ಪರ್ಷಿಯಾ ದೇಶದ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ರಜ಼ಾಕ್ ಎಂಬುವವನು (೧೪೪೨) ಬಂದು ಎರದು ವರ್ಶಗಳ ಕಾಲ ನೆಲೆಸಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನ ವರ್ಣನೆ ನೋಡಿ: ".....ಅಂಗಡಿ ಬೀದಿಗಳು ಬಹು ಉದ್ದವಾಗಿಯೂ ಅಗಲವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇವೆ. ರತ್ನಪಡಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿಗಳು ಅಂಗಡಿ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ವಜ್ರ ವೈಡೂರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ರತ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾರುತ್ತಾರೆ."
ಇಟಲಿ ದೇಶದ ವರ್ತಕ ನಿಕೋಲೊ ಕೋಂಟಿ ತನ್ನ ವರ್ಣನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ವಿಜಯನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಂಬತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರದಷ್ಟು ಆಯುಧದಾರಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಿರುವರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ. "ಕಳಿಂಗ ಅರಸ ಕಪಿಲೆಂದ್ರ ಗಜಪತಿಯನ್ನು ದೆವರಾಯ ಸೋಲಿಸಿದ್ದ. ಶ್ರೀಲಂಕ, ಪೆಗು, ಬರ್ಮ ದೆಶಗಲ ಅರಸರು ವಿಜಯನಗರದ ಅರಸ ದೇವರಾಯನಿಗೆ (೧೪೨೪-೧೪೪೬) ಕಪ್ಪಕಾಣಿಕೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು" ಎಂದು ನ್ಯೂನಿಜ಼್ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
ವಿದೇಶಿ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಗಳು, ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗಳು, ಇತಿಹಾಸಕಾರರು ಅಂದಿನ ವೈಭವವನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಂಡು ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ವರ್ಣಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವರ್ಣನೆಗಳಂತೆ ರಾಜಧಾನಿ ವಿಜಯನಗರ ತುಂಗಭದ್ರೆಯ ದಕ್ಶಿಣ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗುಡ್ದಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾದ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಈಗಲೂ ಕಾಣಬಹುದು.ರಮಣೀಯ ನಿಸರ್ಗದ ನಡುನಡುವೆ ಗುಂಪುಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ದೆವಾಲಯಗಳಿವೆ. ಕೆಲವೆದೆ ಬೆಟ್ತದ ಬಂಡೆಗಳೇ ಬುನಾದಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಣೆಗಳು ಎದ್ದಿವೆ. ಪ್ರಕ್ರುತಿ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯದ ನಡುವೆ ಕಲಾದೇವಿ ನರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಳೋ ಎಂಬಂತಿದೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ದ್ರುಶ್ಯ. ಇದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ ಕಲಾವಿಮರ್ಶಕರು "ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಸರ್ಗ ಎಲ್ಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲಾಗುತ್ತೆ, ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಬವಾಗುತ್ತೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದು ಕಷ್ಟ" ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕನ್ನಡದ ಖ್ಯಾತ ಕವಿ ವಿ. ಸೀತಾರಮಯ್ಯನವರು ’ಪಂಪಾ ಯಾತ್ರೆ’ ಎಂಬ ಸುಂದರ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಕ್ರುತಿಯನ್ನೇ ಬರೆದಿರುವರು. ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದೆಶಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗಳು ಬಂದು ತಂಗಿದ್ದು ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಕಲಪ್ರೌಡಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಆನಂದಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

- Hồ sơ thiết kế thi công cọc thử D800, **/2008.
- Nội dung cuộc họp ngày 19/**/2008 giữa các bên: ***** *****, thiết kế ***, quản lý xây dựng ***, đơn vị thẩm tra Tư vấn ***** về giải trình các vấn đề còn tồn tại trong hồ sơ thiết kế đối chiếu với ý kiến của đơn vị thẩm tra.
Theo tinh thần cuộc họp ngày 19/**/2008, Công ty CP ***** **** đề nghị Nhà thiết kế ***tiến hành các công việc được thống nhất sau:
- Xem xét kiểm tra lại hồ sơ thiết kế bản vẽ thi công phần ngầm theo các nội dung của Báo cáo kết quả thẩm tra do Tư vấn ***** đưa ra. Những vấn đề chi tiết được nêu ra trong Báo cáo kết quả thẩm tra, nhà thiết kế có thể làm việc trực tiếp với Tư vấn ***** để làm rõ, giải trình, điều chỉnh hồ sơ thiết kế.
- Thống nhất áp dụng các tiêu chuẩn thiết kế đã được phê duyệt trong thiết kế cơ sở. Tránh sử dụng nhiều tiêu chuẩn thiết kế kết cấu cho cùng một hạng mục công trình.
- Yêu cầu nhiệm vụ thiết kế: đảm bảo an toàn kỹ thuật, đảm bảo tính kinh tế và phù hợp với điều kiện thi công thực tiễn tại Việt Nam.
- Những sửa đổi, điều chỉnh bản vẽ thiết kế sẽ được đưa vào thiết kế chi tiết sau khi nhà thiết kế đánh gia các số liệu thu thập được từ kết quả thí nghiệm cọc thử. Tuy nhiên như thống nhất trong cuộc họp, thiết kế ***sẽ có văn bản giải trình chính thức các nội dung được nêu ra trong Báo cáo kết quả thẩm tra của Tư vấn ***** không chậm hơn ngày 03/**/2008.
- Đồng thời trong quá trình thí nghiệm cọc thử, đề nghị thiết kế ***phối hợp chặt chẽ và cùng tham gia kiểm tra công tác thử cọc khảo sát, để đảm bảo các kết quả thí nghiệm thu thập được là đủ cơ sở thiết kế điều chỉnh cho phần ngầm công trình.

According to sprit of the meeting dated 19 ** 2008, *****– *****JSC requests ***to carry out the unified matters as hereafter:
- Re-examining the design drawing document of the underground items according to the contents of the report of evaluation result that were presented by *****Consultancy. With regard to the matters, in detail, as addressed in the report of examination result, the designer could contact with *****Consultancy directly in order to clarify, explain, and correct the design document.
- Applying the design standards that were approved in the basic design uniformly. Avoiding the usage of multiple standards of construction design for the same work item.
- Design requirements: ensuring technique safety, ensuring economy and conformity with the practical process specifications in Vietnam.
- The corrections to the drawing design will be incorporated into the design in detail after the designer evaluates the figures collected from the evaluation result of test pile. However, as agreed in the meeting, ***would present their official explanation of the contents which were addressed in the report of evaluation result of *****Consultancy no later than 3 ** 2008.
- Simultaneously, during the evaluation process of test pile, ***is requested to co-ordinate closely and take part into the process of testing survey pile, in order to ensure the collected examination results which are basically enough in design for the underground part of the works.
