I graduated with honours from a Faculty of Translators and Interpreters of Gorky State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign languages (now Nizhny Novgorod Linguistic University) in 1992.

I specialise in Business, Commerce, Finance, Law, Marketing, International Trade and other fields of expertise (for more details, please, see my profile at proz.com). I provide translation, interpreting (both consecutive and simultaneous), and over-the-phone interpreting services from English to Russian and vice versa.

I have 20+ years of experience of translation and interpreting. I worked for various international and Russian governmental, corporate and non-governmental bodies, including:

- the International Finance Corporation, a private arm of the World Bank, on various projects relating to small scale retail and truck privatization;
- the UK Government Department for International Development (the former British Know-How Fund) on projects relating to economic support to Russia:
- the UK companies ADAS International, ULG Consultants on projects relating to support of development of agriculture and food sector in Russia;
- the US Government Overseas Private Investment Corporation, Office of Investment Policy, on projects relating to development of the banking sector in Russia; and
- many other foreign and Russian companies as direct clients and several Russian translation agencies on various projects relating to economy, law, marketing, finance, accounting, management, etc.

I took a course with the UK Open University Business School on management, finance, and marketing in 1997-1998. It gave a keen insight into, hands-on experience, and better understanding of areas which are my specialization in translation and interpreting. Thus, my translation and interpreting work is always accurate and professional not only from just the linguistic aspect.

I translated various commercial, financial, and banking contracts and agreements, commercial offers and proposals, legal documents, laws and governmental regulatory acts, financial and accounting statements, payment documents, auditor's reports, incorporation documents, charters, including for offshore companies, tax returns, powers of attorney, insurance documents, shareholder documents (minutes of meetings, share transfer agreements, etc.), court verdicts, documents on management, securities, logistics, marketing, advertising, HR (assessment, job descriptions, etc.), transportation and shipping, agriculture, fishing, tourism and travel, personal documents (passports, certificates of birth, marriage, divorce, visa application documents, bank account statements, diplomas, CVs, letters), certificates, licenses, newspaper and magazine articles, etc.

I provided interpreting services (both consecutive and simultaneous interpreting) at various meetings and sessions, including for Russian, UK, US governmental bodies and agencies, various commercial and non-commercial negotiations, marketing presentations, focus groups, banking meetings on financial reports and plans, performance review, over-the-phone interpreting on various commercial issues, etc.
