Source text - Korean 과거에는, 콘크리트 구조물의 보강에 steel plate가 주로 이용되었다. 하지만 현재에는 FRP plate의 장점들로 인하여 노후된 철근콘크리 구조물의 보강에 FRP plate가 활발이 적용되고 있다. FRP plate를 외부부착 보강재로 사용함에 따르는 문제는 미성숙 박리 파괴(premature debonding failure)가 발생한다는 것이다. 이로 인하여 FRP plate는 그 재료적 성능을 다 발현하지 못하게 된다. 게다가 박리 파괴가 발생함과 동시에 보강 시스템은 무 보강 시스템으로 전환이되고, 보강된 보는 일반 콘크리트 보와 같은 거동을 하게 된다. 이러한 문제들은 콘크리트와 부착되는 FRP plate의 표면 면적을 증가시켜 부착 성능을 증가시키는 것이 하나의 해답이 될 수 있을 것이다.
Translation - English Steel plates have been used mainly to strengthen concrete structures. These days, however, FRP plates are actively used to reinforce decrepit steel concrete structures due to their many advantages. One problem, though, when using FRP plates as externally bonded reinforcement is premature debonding failure, which restricts the full performance of the plate. Furthermore, simultaneous with debonding failure, the strengthening system changes to an unstrengthening system and the strengthened beam behaves like an ordinary concrete beam. One possible solution to these problems is to increase the surface area of the FRP plate bonded to the concrete so as to increase its bonding performance.
