Source text - English The sugar palm (Arenga pinnata) is a multipurpose palm species which is commonly known for its sap and currently is one of the economic sources in rural societies particularly in region of Southeast Asia. While research on economically-important yield of this species are progressing over the years, study on growth performance and physiology is still scarce and neglected. The objective of this study was to analyze quantitatively morphological characteristics and yield parameters of A. pinnata grown under proper domestication.

Walaupun penyelidikan mengenai hasil ekonomi dari spesies ini berkembang sejak beberapa tahun ini, kajian mengenai prestasi pertumbuhan dan fisiologi masih kurang dan tidak diberi keutamaan. But, running on a platform of ending the war in Vietnam, George McGovern's got a real shot, now he just has to find a running mate. He asks Ted Kennedy, who says, "No way." In fact, everyone turns him down. Hubert Humphrey, no. Walter Mondale, no dice. Then, he asks Senator Gaylord Nelson who's like, "No thanks. But what about Thomas Eagleton?" Nelson's like, "Eagleton's young, he's liberal but Catholic. The unions love him, he could win you Missouri." And they've gotta pick someone fast, so the campaign asks Eagleton if there's anything in his background that might embarrass the campaign. Eagleton says, "No," so McGovern pulls the trigger. Within days, rumours start circulating about Eagleton's health, because Eagleton neglected to mention that he'd been hospitalized 3 times for depression and that his treatment had twice involved ECT.
