I am a native speaker of English, Dutch and German. I was born in London and grew up in Germany in a Dutch family. As a child and adolescent I always used to speak Dutch at home, German at school and with friends, and English to my international friends. I have spent several years studying and working in the UK and Sweden, where I learnt scientific English and intermediate Swedish skills. Since I was able to speak several languages my entire life, I was asked to translate single words and whole texts from a young age. Now I have been translating professionally for several years.
