Dear franchisees,

I would like to provide an update and hopefully some more clarity on the warranty conditions on the purple equipment. I feel this is necessary as I have noticed some unclarities from both sides, which I would like to prevent to be able to set and manage expectations, again from both sides.

For the purple equipment two different situations apply, machines delivered as from 2014 until February 14th, 2017, and machines delivered after that date. Up to 2017 an extremely long warranty period applied to provide additional assurance to clubs moving from white to purple equipment at the moment of introduction. In 2017 the warranty period on the frames was lowered to 5 years, still more than double the industry standard of around 24 months. For moving parts and parts subject to wear and tear, 1 year up to 18 months of warranty applies, which is close to or slightly above industry standards.

Providing a long period of warranty gives us some challenges. The biggest impact comes from the fact that the machines have been and are continuously being developed and improved over time. In some cases, this makes It hard to replace a specific part or frame from the earlier production batches. In these cases, we will work with you to come to a fair solution, based on the full warranty conditions.

So far, I feel we have always been very supportive and fair in case of any equipment issues/ breakages, an approach we want to continue to have. Whilst doing this, we also need to be realistic and come to a solution which works for both sides. Maintenance and an occasional replacement of parts or sometimes a full machine is part of the operating expenses of a club or more general of any fitness club using machines.

Me gustaría proporcionar una actualización y, con suerte, dar más claridad sobre las condiciones de garantía de las máquinas moradas. Siento que esto es necesario ya que he notado que algunos aspectos carecen de claridad de parte ambos lados. Esto es algo que me gustaría evitar para poder establecer y manejar las expectativas, una vez más, de parte de ambos lados.

Para las máquinas moradas existen dos situaciones diferentes, las máquinas entregadas a partir del 2014 hasta el 14 de febrero de 2017 y las máquinas entregadas después de esa fecha. Hasta el 2017, se había aplicado un período de garantía extremadamente largo para brindar seguridad adicional a los clubes que hacían el cambio de máquinas blancas a moradas en el momento de la presentación. En 2017, el período de garantía de los marcos se redujo a 5 años, cosa que era más del doble del estándar de la industria que era de alrededor de 24 meses. Por lo que a las piezas móviles y piezas sujetas a desgaste se refiere, se aplica de 1 año a 18 meses de garantía, lo que está cerca o ligeramente por encima de los estándares de la industria.

Proporcionar un período de garantía muy largo nos presenta algunos desafíos. Vorrei darvi un aggiornamento e magari anche un po' più di chiarezza sulle condizioni di garanzia sulle macchine viola. Lo ritengo necessario poiché ho notato alcune incertezze e incomprensioni da entrambe le parti, cosa che vorrei evitare per poter impostare e gestire le aspettative, come sempre da entrambe le parti. Per le macchine viola ci sono due situazioni diverse, macchine consegnate a partire dal 2014 fino al 14 febbraio 2017 e macchine consegnate dopo tale data.
Fino al 2017 era stato applicato un periodo di garanzia estremamente lungo in modo da dare ulteriore garanzia ai club che passavano dalle macchine bianche a quelle viola al momento dell'introduzione.


Nel 2017 il periodo di garanzia dei telai era stato abbassato a 5 anni, il quale continua ad essere ancora più del doppio rispetto allo standard di settore che è di circa 24 mesi. Per le parti mobili e le parti soggette a usura si applica una garanzia da 1 anno fino a 18 mesi, che è simile o leggermente superiore agli standard del settore. Fornire un lungo periodo di garanzia ci pone alcune sfide. L'impatto maggiore deriva dal fatto che le macchine sono state e vengono continuamente sviluppate e migliorate con il passar del tempo. In alcuni casi, ciò rende difficile sostituire alcune parti specifiche, o telai appartenenti a lotti di produzione precedenti. In questi casi, lavoreremo insieme in modo da trovare una soluzione equa, basata sulle condizioni di garanzia complete.


Finora, credo che siamo sempre stati di grande supporto e imparziali in caso di problemi/rotture delle apparecchiature, e questo è un approccio che vogliamo continuare ad avere. Nel farlo però, dobbiamo anche essere realistici e giungere a una soluzione che funzioni per entrambe le parti. La manutenzione e la sostituzione occasionale di parti o talvolta di una macchina completa fanno parte delle spese operative di un club, detto in un modo più generico, di qualsiasi fitness club che utilizza macchinari.

We have some great news to share! As from June 19th, 2023, we will launch a new website for C Products. Also, we have been and are working to ensure the availability of some basic C branded products, which will be coming available over the next weeks and months.
Please read the information below carefully as you need to register to access the website and we have some information on new features.

Registration/ account creation
• You will receive an email invitation to activate your personal club account on this new website on June 19th, 2023.
• Each club will have an account, so multiple club owners will receive an invitation for each club.
• Please make sure to carefully check the club (and legal entity) details to ensure accurate invoicing.
• The registration process will work as follows.
o Invitation mail has a button that will lead you to the new website.
o You will be asked to create a password for this account.
o Create one (or more) delivery addresses.
o In case of multiples delivery addresses, please make sure to check you have selected the accurate address for any order.
o If you have a VAT number, this will be displayed with your Shipping address. The VAT number is pre-filled. If the VAT is either missing, or incorrect, please contact us on [email protected] and let us know the accurate VAT number. We will adjust the number after checking (as per local tax regulations).

New features
Next to easy navigation and search functionality, the parts for the purple machines will now be available to order. Parts can easily be ordered by machine. At the start the main wear and tear related parts will be available (rollers, pads, and cylinders), where we will be adding the smaller parts during the next weeks (e.g., screws, bolts, snap rings etc.)

key tags
We have been able to have a last batch of the (old) Smart Key tags produced (over 100,000 pcs). This should ensure the availability of the tags over the next years, where we will be transitioning to the New Smart. At the introduction of the Smart these tags were quite ahead of time and designed specifically for C. At this moment these can’t (easily) be re-produced anymore as they are not based on any standard, resulting in relatively expensive tags with extremely long lead times.
Once the new stock is available, the limitations we have put in place on the number of packs that can be ordered, will be lifted!

Cerca de la funcionalidad de búsqueda y navegación, las piezas para las máquinas moradas ahora estarán disponibles para ser ordenadas. Las piezas se pueden ordenar fácilmente por máquina.
Al principio, estarán disponibles las principales piezas relacionadas con el desgaste (rodillos, almohadillas y cilindros), donde iremos añadiendo las piezas más pequeñas durante las próximas semanas (p. ej., tornillos, pernos, anillos elásticos, etc.)

Tarjetas Smart
Hemos podido recibir un último lote de etiquetas de Tarjetas Smart (de las antiguas) (más de 100 000 unidades). Esto debería garantizar la disponibilidad de las Tarjetas Smart para los próximos años, en los que haremos la transición al New Smart. A comienzos de Smart, estas Tarjetas estaban bastante adelantadas a su tiempo y habían sido diseñadas específicamente para C.
En este momento, ya no se pueden volver a producir (tan fácilmente), ya que no se basan en ningún estándar, lo que da como resultado Tarjetas relativamente costosas con plazos de entrega extremadamente largos. ¡Una vez que el nuevo stock esté disponible, se eliminarán las limitaciones que hemos establecido en la cantidad de paquetes que se pueden pedir!

Chiavette Smart
Siamo stati in grado di ricevere un ultimo lotto delle (vecchie) Chiavette Smart prodotte
(oltre 100.000 pezzi). Ciò dovrebbe garantire la disponibilità delle Chiavette nei prossimi anni, durante i quali passeremo alla Nuova Smart. All'introduzione di Smart, queste Chiavette erano piuttosto anticipate ai loro tempi e progettate specificamente per C.
