Die Kinderkrebshilfe Mainz e.V. wurde von Kinderärzten des Zentrums für Kinder- und Jugendmedizin der Universitätsmedizin und weiteren Mainzer Hochschulmedizinern und Wissenschaftlern der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz gegründet. Der gemeinnützige Verein sieht seine Aufgabe in der optimalen Betreuung und Versorgung krebskranker Kinder und ihrer Angehörigen.
