Section 2 (Definitions): The expressions used within this regulation are defined as follows.
• “Ackerman Steer Angle” means the angle whose tangent is the wheelbase divided by the radius of the turn at a very low speed.
• “Electronic Stability Control System (or ESC System)” means a system that has all of the following attributes from (i) to (v):
(i) That improves vehicle directional stability by at least having the ability to automatically control individually the braking torques of the left and right wheels on each axle or an axle of each axle group (an axle group shall be treated as a single axle and dual wheels shall be treated as a single wheel) to induce a correcting yaw moment based on the evaluation of actual vehicle behaviour in comparison with a determination of vehicle behaviour demanded by the driver;
(ii) That is computer-controlled closed-loop algorithm to limit vehicle oversteer and to limit vehicle understeer based on the evaluation of actual vehicle behaviour in comparison with a determination of vehicle behaviour demanded by the driver;
(iii) That has a means to determine directly the value of vehicle’s yaw rate and to estimate its side slip (or side slip angle) derivative with respect to time.
(iv) That has a means to monitor driver steering inputs; and
(v) That has an algorithm to determine the need, and a means to modify propulsion torque, as necessary, to assist the driver in maintaining control of the vehicle.
• “Oversteer” means a condition in which the vehicle’s yaw rate is greater than the yaw rate that would occur at the vehicle’s speed as result of the Ackerman Steer Angle.
• “Understeer” means a condition in which the vehicle’s yaw rate is less than the yaw rate that would occur at the vehicle’s speed as result of the Ackerman Steer Angle.
• “Sideslip (or side slip angle)” means the arctangent of the ratio of the lateral velocity to the longitudinal velocity of the centre of gravity of the vehicle.
• “Yaw rate” means the rate of change of the vehicle’s heading angle measured in degrees/second of rotation about a vertical axis through the vehicle axis through the vehicle’s centre of gravity.
• “Common space” means an area on which more than one tell-tale, indicator, identification symbols, or other message may be displayed but not simultaneously.

I have an ample amount of experience in the field of translation into the English language.  I have experience working with companies like Feature Subtitling & Translation, Media Blaster, Central Park Media, Imaginasian TV, and UTOFOS Co. One of my proudest achievements was when I had the opportunity to found and manage a group of translators towards a common goal; establishing a fan sub organization known as Soldats. (www.soldats.net )

Language-wise, I am a Korean-born New Yorker. Thus, I have mother-tongue fluency in both the Korean and English languages. As for Japanese, I have had great personal interest in the language since my youth and I have studied it for nearly a decade long. I optimize in Korean to English translations as well Japanese to English translation.

Although it is true that I have other fields of specialization, I believe that since I have mother-tongue fluency in both languages, even if I encountered slang or jargon that was unfamiliar to me, I would be able to derive its meaning effortlessly.

My daily output for translation would range somewhere between 2000 target words to 3000 target words per day.
