Source text - English Biobank is defined as the long-term storage of biological samples for research or clinical purposes. It is a key resource for healthcare to identify new potential biomarkers that can be used in patient diagnosis.
However, due to limited resources and awareness, biobank development has not progressed at the same pace in low-middle-income countries (LMICs) as in developed countries, which has implications for the development of health sciences and evidence-based disease control.
Recognizing the need to increase the level of awareness, education and biobanking infrastructure in LMIC and to address the underrepresentation of high quality biospecimens, a biobank network is being set up by IARC. In collaboration with international experts, the network will support the efforts of LMIC partners in developing their biobank infrastructure.
Translation - Indonesian Biobank didefinisikan sebagai penyimpanan jangka panjang sampel biologis untuk tujuan penelitian atau klinis. Ini adalah sumber utama bagi perawatan kesehatan untuk mengidentifikasi biomarker potensial baru yang dapat digunakan dalam diagnosis pasien.

Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh mekanisme conditioned medium MSC-TP dalam perbaikan struktur dan fungsi saraf pasca cedera saraf perifer.
Translation - English Peripheral nerve injury is a complication of extremity traumas in 3-10% of patients causing the dysfunction of the normal sensory and motor functions. Mesenchymal stem cell support therapy (MSCs) has been widely developed in various medical sciences especially in its ability to regenerate cells and tissues. Nevertheless, MSCs and/or the conditioned medium of human umbilical cord (MSC-TP) in regenerating peripheral nerves have not been widely known. Therefore, this research aimed at determining the effects of conditioned medium mechanism of MSC-TP in improving the structure and the function of the nerves after peripheral nerve injury.
