Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji produktivitas galur-galur dihaploid generasi lanjutan padi sawah toleran kekeringan hasil kultur antera dan membandingkannya dengan dua varietas pembanding. Sebanyak 19 galur dihaploid padi sawah hasil kultur antera diuji dan dibandingkan varietas pembanding Inpari 13 dan Ciherang. Penelitian dilakukan di Kebun Percobaan Sawah Baru, Babakan, Darmaga, Kabupaten Bogor pada bulan Desember-Mei 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan kelompok lengkap teracak (RKLT) dengan 3 ulangan. Terdapat 63 unit percobaan dengan ukuran masing-masing 3,5 m x 2,5 m. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa galur HR1-12-2-2 (5,55 ton ha-1) dan HR8-5-2-1 (5,29 ton ha-1) memiliki produktivitas melebihi varietas pembanding Inpari-13 (3,88 ton ha-1 ) dan Ciherang (3,81 ton ha-1 ). Galur CG-9-5-1-2 (5,05 ton ha-1) memiliki produktivitas melebihi varietas Ciherang dan setara dengan varietas Inpari-13. Galur lainnya yaitu CG-9-26-1-1, CG-9-26-1-2, HR2-27-2-7, dan HR6- 5-1-3 memiliki produktivitas yang tinggi berkisar antara 4,50-4,94 ton ha-1 setara dengan kedua varietas Inpari-13 dan Ciherang. This study was aimed to test the productivity of lines of dihaploid advanced generation of drought-tolerant rice paddy result of anthers culture and compare them with two comparison varieties. There are 19 rice paddy dihaploid lines result of antera culture tested and compared with comparison variety Inpari 13 and Ciherang. The study was done in Sawah Baru Experimental Garden, Babakan, Darmaga, Bogor Regency on December-May 2016. This study used randomized completely block design (RCBD) with three replications. There were 63 trial units with size 3,5 m x 2,5 m respectively. The study result showed that line HR1-12-2-2 (5,55 ton ha-1) and HR8-5-2-1 (5,29 ton ha-1) had productivity more than the comparison variety Inpari-13 (3,88 ton ha-1 ) and Ciherang (3,81 ton ha-1 ). The line of CG-9-5-1-2 (5,05 ton ha-1) had productivity more than variety of Ciherang and equal to variety Inpari-13. Other lines were CG-9-26-1-1, CG-9-26-1-2, HR2-27-2-7, andHR6- 5-1-3 had high productivity ranged between 4,50-4,94 ton ha-1 equal to both variety Inpari-13 and Ciherang. Pepaya merupakan buah klimakterik dengan daya simpan yang rendah. Pemberian pelapis pada buah pepaya Callina dapat memperpanjang daya simpan dengan tetap mempertahankan kualitas buah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh penggunaan kitosan sebagai bahan pelapis alami terhadap daya simpan dan kualitas buah pepaya. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Desember 2016 sampai Juni 2017. Percobaan dilaksanakan di kebun Mekarsari, Kecamatan Rancabungur, Kabupaten Bogor. Pengujian pascapanen di Laboratorium Pascapanen, Departemen AGH IPB. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT) satu faktor yaitu konsentrasi kitosan dengan tiga ulangan. Parameter yang diukur adalah umur simpan, laju respirasi, susut bobot, kekerasan kulit dan daging buah, padatan terlarut total, asam tertitrasi total, dan kandungan vitamin C. Pelapisan kitosan dapat memperpanjang umur simpan pepaya Callina dengan menekan laju respirasi. Pelapisan kitosan 0,25%, 0,5%, 0,75%, dan 1% menghasilkan umur simpan hampir sama dengan umur simpan rata-rata 11 Hari Setelah Perlakuan (HSP) dan dapat memperpanjang daya simpan buah selama 3 HSP dibandingkan dengan kontrol. Pelapis kitosan dengan taraf konsentrasi yang berbeda tidak mempengaruhi mutu fisik dan kimia buah.

Papaya is climacteric fruits with low storability. Providing coatings on Callina papaya is able to extend its storability and maintain the fruits quality. This study aim was to test the influence of chitosan usage as natural coatings materials to papaya storability and quality. This research was conducted on December 2016 to June 2017. The trial was conducted in Mekarsari gaden, Rancabungur Subdistrict, Bogor Regency. The test of postharvest was conducted in Posharvest Laboratory, Department of AGH, IPB. The trial design used was Randomized Completely Blocked Design (RCBD) one factor that was chitosan consentration with three replications. Parameters measured were shelf life, respiration rate, weight losses, hardness of rind and flesh of fruit, total dissolved solids, total titrated acids, and content of vitamin C. Coating of chitosan was able to extend shelf life of Callina papaya by pressing respiration rate. Coating of chitosan 0,25%, 0,5%, 0,75%, dan 1% produced almost same of shelf life with average of shelf life 11 Day After Treatments (DAT), and was able to extend fruit storability for 3 DAT, compared to control. Chitosan coatings with rate of different concentration did not affect fruit physic and chemical quality.
