Source text - English Science is very important in our daily life. Because science has made our lives easier. Science is involved in the production, transportation, and processing of the food we eat. From the use of fertilizers in agriculture to the creams we use on our skin, the omnipresence of science can be seen.
Science is a blessing for us. We use science all the time. Through this, we are creating new technologies, which have improved our quality of life. Science has enabled us to live longer by discovering cures for many diseases.
Science has allowed us to learn about the universe and helps maintain the natural balance. So, it can be said that from dawn to midnight, we always feel the influence of science in our daily life.
Since science is entirely dependent on data and experiments, it does not change over time. Every new technology is founded on scientific principles. So, science and technology are interdependent.
We cannot deny that science is one of the most important means of knowledge. So everyone should have basic knowledge about science. Effective steps should be taken to give children a clear understanding of the fundamentals of science from an early age.
There is no need to study science to do higher research in science or to become a scientist. Rather, science should be known because it makes our lives easier and expands our minds in many ways.
The benefits of science should not only be communicated to the public, but the government should also be aware of the use and impact of science. Because major global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and freshwater security have arisen from the misuse of science.
So, science today must respond to societal needs more than ever. Building a sustainable world requires using science in a way that does not have any harmful effects on the environment.
Governments and citizens must use science in positive ways to address sustainable development challenges. Scientists need to understand the problems of policy-makers. So, scientists have to invent something through research that is good for society, the country, and the world.
So, science has both advantages and disadvantages. For this reason, we all need to be aware of science to get the benefits of science.
Translation - Bengali আমাদের দৈনন্দিন জীবনে বিজ্ঞান খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। কারণ বিজ্ঞান আমাদের জীবনকে সহজ করে দিয়েছে। আমরা যে খাবার খাই তার উৎপাদন, পরিবহন এবং প্রক্রিয়াকরণের সাথে বিজ্ঞান জড়িত। কৃষিতে সার ব্যবহার থেকে শুরু করে আমরা আমাদের ত্বকে যে ক্রিম ব্যবহার করি, তাতে বিজ্ঞানের সর্বব্যাপীতা দেখা যায়।
বিজ্ঞান আমাদের জন্য আশীর্বাদ। আমরা সব সময় বিজ্ঞান ব্যবহার করি। এর মাধ্যমে আমরা নতুন প্রযুক্তি তৈরি করছি, যা আমাদের জীবনযাত্রার মান উন্নত করেছে। বিজ্ঞান অনেক রোগের প্রতিষেধক আবিষ্কার করে আমাদেরকে দীর্ঘজীবী করতে সক্ষম করেছে। বিজ্ঞান আমাদের মহাবিশ্ব সম্পর্কে জানার অনুমতি দিয়েছে এবং প্রাকৃতিক ভারসাম্য বজায় রাখতে সাহায্য করে। তাই বলা যায়, ভোর থেকে মধ্যরাত পর্যন্ত আমরা আমাদের দৈনন্দিন জীবনে সর্বদা বিজ্ঞানের প্রভাব অনুভব করি।
যেহেতু বিজ্ঞান সম্পূর্ণরূপে তথ্য এবং পরীক্ষা-নিরীক্ষার উপর নির্ভরশীল, তাই এটি সময়ের সাথে পরিবর্তিত হয় না। প্রতিটি নতুন প্রযুক্তি বৈজ্ঞানিক নীতির উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত। তাই, বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি পরস্পর নির্ভরশীল।
আমরা অস্বীকার করতে পারি না যে বিজ্ঞান জ্ঞানের অন্যতম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মাধ্যম। তাই সকলেরই বিজ্ঞান সম্পর্কে প্রাথমিক জ্ঞান থাকা উচিত। ছোটবেলা থেকেই শিশুদের বিজ্ঞানের মৌলিক বিষয়গুলো সম্পর্কে স্পষ্ট ধারণা দেওয়ার জন্য কার্যকর পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া উচিত। বিজ্ঞানে উচ্চতর গবেষণা করতে বা বিজ্ঞানী হওয়ার জন্য বিজ্ঞান পড়ার দরকার নেই। বরং বিজ্ঞানকে জানা উচিত কারণ এটি আমাদের জীবনকে সহজ করে তোলে এবং আমাদের মনকে নানাভাবে প্রসারিত করে।
বিজ্ঞানের উপকারিতা শুধু জনসাধারণের কাছে জানালেই হবে না, সরকারকেও বিজ্ঞানের ব্যবহার ও প্রভাব সম্পর্কে সচেতন হতে হবে। কারণ জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন, জীববৈচিত্র্যের ক্ষতি এবং মিঠা পানির নিরাপত্তার মতো বড় বৈশ্বিক চ্যালেঞ্জগুলো বিজ্ঞানের অপব্যবহার থেকে দেখা দিয়েছে। তাই বিজ্ঞানকে আজকে আগের চেয়ে বেশি সামাজিক প্রয়োজনে সাড়া দিতে হবে। একটি টেকসই বিশ্ব গড়তে বিজ্ঞানকে এমনভাবে ব্যবহার করতে হবে যাতে পরিবেশের উপর কোনো ক্ষতিকর প্রভাব না পড়ে।
টেকসই উন্নয়ন চ্যালেঞ্জ মোকাবেলায় সরকার ও নাগরিকদের অবশ্যই বিজ্ঞানকে ইতিবাচক উপায়ে ব্যবহার করতে হবে। বিজ্ঞানীদের নীতি-নির্ধারকদের সমস্যা বুঝতে হবে। তাই বিজ্ঞানীদের গবেষণার মাধ্যমে এমন কিছু উদ্ভাবন করতে হবে যা সমাজ, দেশ ও বিশ্বের জন্য মঙ্গলজনক।
সুতরাং, বিজ্ঞানের সুবিধা এবং অসুবিধা উভয়ই রয়েছে। এজন্য বিজ্ঞানের সুফল পেতে আমাদের সকলকে বিজ্ঞান সম্পর্কে সচেতন হতে হবে।

This is Rajsri Rani Das. I am a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Graduate from Jahangirnagar University, One of the top universities in Bangladesh.
As a Bangladeshi citizen, I have a satisfactory command of the Bengali language. Moreover, I had a medium of instruction in English in my graduation and post-graduation. So I have good knowledge of English to Bengali and Bengali to English translation.
