Short bio

Long bio

I was born in Stockholm but spent most of my childhood in London. My family and I moved there the first time when I was eight, we stayed for a year and then went back to Stockholm. But three years later we were off to London again and this time I ended up staying till I was twenty-two. I graduated with an International Baccalaureate from Hammersmith and West London College in 1989 and remained in London working in a shoe shop, and then as an assistant to the CEO at a re-insurance company. I also studied one semester at Ithaca College London, where I, among other things, took a course in films studies.

Back in Sweden I moved to Lund where I studied press science, and media and communication at the University. I then decided to go back to Stockholm where I continued my studies in media and communication at the University, where I also did one semester of Practical Swedish.

After finishing my studies, I worked as a script supervisor in tv-production and translated voice overs from English to Swedish for a wildlife series. For several years I worked as an account manager and planner at advertising agencies, managing both Swedish and International accounts. This also included overseeing translations from English to Swedish for adverts. I’ve run a personal shopping service for both men and women and managed my own high-end fashion boutique in Stockholm. I have also worked at, and done freelance work for, a luxury travel planner – doing both travel itineraries and marketing - producing text content for emails, SoMe and their website. I have now been running my own company for about twenty years, doing work for several clients – helping them with text content for websites and SoMe, building websites in WordPress, producing banners - among other things. In 2016 I graduated as a sommelier from Restaurangakademien in Stockholm, and recently also started a new venture, designing, and producing legwear for women.

I love travelling – Italy and Great Britain being two of my favourite destinations. I also love cooking and wine tasting and spend a lot of spare time trying out new recipes and finding the perfect wine pairing for them. You could say that fashion is one of my hobbies, it has been a huge interest as far back as I can remember and continues to be something I spend a lot of time - and money – on still today.
