Bio
I am from Greece and I am a rising freelance translator.

My studies provided me a theoretical and a practical base of social and intercultural skills. The concept of my studies (Applied Foreign Languages in Management and Commerce) is to prepare students to work in a multilingual environment.
This is achieved by A) training students in management and business issues linked with the knowledge of 2 languages for specific purposes and B) training them as specialized translators.

During my Socrates- Erasmus studies, I had the opportunity to prepare projects in multinational composed teams, which was the beginning and also a good practice for me in order to be able to corporate with foreigners.

My intercultural knowledge has deepened during my journeys in Europe and also by my, so far, working experience in an airline company.

In addition, my translational skills have been enhanced by editing a thesis in translation in specific sections of Cabin Crew’s Manual, and later on by subtitling BBC’s post-production scripts for documentary films.
