I want something more technical then 'diseases of the jaw' Can I use 'maxillo-facial diseases' here?

At the moment I am using "dental, oral and maxillo-facial diseases" but I'm not sure that that is technically correct.

Sorry. I didn't realise I hadn't provided any context. This term is from a list of subjects on a "Ergebnis der Zahnärztlicher Prüfung - fächerspezifiziert-". Some of the others are 'Innere Medizin', 'Hals- Nasen- und Ohrenkrankheiten, Pharmakologie'. Each of those is listed as a 'Prüfungsabschnitt'

Shane didn't provide the context of the term, however, it seems to be part of a department name, or a speciality of a surgeon (?); if so, e.g. Arzt für ... or Klinik für ..., then the appropriate expression is:
(Dept. for) Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery - IMO.
