I translate from English into German and vice versa. Translations are generally billed according to standard lines (with 55 signs/spaces), based on the length of the final text. The price per line depends on the degree of difficulty and technicality of the text. The criteria for this are i. a. the comprehensibility of the text as a whole, the number of technical terms as well as the kind of aids necessary for the translation (dictionaries, encyclopaedias, internet research, talking to experts in the sphere etc.).
