I hold a Bachelor's degree in computer software engineering from Iran Azad University and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Tarbiat Moallem University and I've been working as a translator since 2006.
I've spent my childhood in U.K. and therefore I have a near native English fluency.
My professional background includes working for one of the world's largest engineering firms as a project and training manager and therefore I have developed a broad understanding of scientific and commercial texts.
My clients include non-disclosed US agencies working in Afghanistan and commercial entities including Caterpillar, Ford, Microsoft, Eberspaecher, etc.
I also have experience in transcribing audio from Dari and Farsi into English and I have successfully handled projects for Radio Farda and 670AM KIRN Radio in addition to non-disclosed law enforcement agencies.
I've been working as a volunteer with Watching America since 2008 which is a volunteer organization that translates foreign news about the USA from all over
the world and posts it online for the consumption of the English-speaking world.
I can deliver up to 3500 words of translation or 30 mins of transcription per day.
I'm quite flexible about pricing and my rates are generally open to negotiation.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
