Bio
I am a young professional freelance translator and interpreter with three-years of experience. I studied English Education in Sanata Dharma University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and the English Language and International Programs of the University of California Santa Cruz Extension, the USA. I have very strong command in English with ITP TOEFL score of 637 as of July 2009.

I began to work on translation in 2008-2009 when I received a translation project from Universitat Berlin, Germany, to translate various interview transcripts from Javanese to English. Since then, I have translated numerous projects from many clients and institutions, including book translation (Indonesia-English) for Gadjah Mada University Press, reports of various NGOs in Indonesia, including KontraS Aceh, K2HAU, Cindelaras Yogyakarta, and others. I too have joined several agencies, namely, TransPerfect and Internation Inc., both are NY-based agencies.

As for interpreting, my work includes simultaneous interpreting for regional workshop on Eearthquake Relief in Gadjah Mada University and consultation and workshop with Development and Peace, a Canadian NGO, and the most recent was simultaneous interpreting for a sport training for disabled people held by US Embassy in Yogyakarta.
