I was born in Korea and moved to the states when I was 2. I spent about 24 years in Virginia and English is my native language. I learned Korean while attending a Korean school on the weekends during my childhood and as a family with a non-English speaking Korean mother, Korean was an active part of our household. I graduated Virginia Commonwealth University and am now working at an engineering and architecture company here in Seoul, South Korea. I have been with this company for 2 years, my duties include, translating, designing, editing, and clerical duties. My job does not limit me to just a few things I spend my day doing something never almost every day. I am also a professional LEED AP BD+C (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). I have been translating technical documents for numerous companies through word of mouth and have been hired as an interpreter a handful of times.
