Experience
Years of experience: 13. Registered at ProZ.com: Sep 2016.
I was born and raised in Lund, a university town in southern Sweden. I speak native Swedish and fluent English, and I have near-native comprehension of Norwegian and Danish. I have earned law degrees both in the United States (Vanderbilt) and in Sweden (Lund University). I am licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Washington, DC (pending).
My legal experience includes spending more than 5 years working on complex antitrust matters at the law firms Herbert Smith, Clifford Chance, and Cederquist, and helping clients navigate U.S. business immigration laws in the Washington, DC area. I have experience on a wide range of document-review related projects, including privilege and responsiveness review, creation of privilege logs, and redactions. I am happy to work directly with law firms or companies, or through staffing agencies.
I am a member of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce of Washington, DC, and serve as membership chair of the DC chapter of SWEA. My husband and I live in Washington, DC's Petworth neighborhood with our son. Learn more about me at hassanderlaw.com.
