I believe that an exceptional translator must also be a gifted writer. Before becoming a full-time freelance translator, I have more than 13 years of experience as a journalist and later as chief editor and publisher of various business publications. My creative writing experiences have given me a a powerful and seamless command of both the English and Chinese languages as well as sensitivity to the nuances of both the source and targeted text. This has become my competitive strength as a translator, enabling my translations to be faithful, significant and elegant pieces of writing that achieve their purpose with their target audience.
