A professional translator with varied
I translated sales contracts, technical
reports, financial reports, company homepages and other materials when I worked
as an overseas sales department manager dealing with overall trading process. I
was engaged in interpretation for sales meetings with foreign visitors.
Having earned an international trade specialist certificate grade 1, I worked for various companies providing them with services including
translation and interpretation. The most interesting part in working for many
companies was to learn about their products. Being forced to learn brand new
knowledge in a short time was very hard, but fruitful and exciting as well.
As a freelance translator, I have been
translating legal contracts, academic thesis of varied fields, documents
related to social science, etc. One of my translations was published in the world report section of a well-known fashion magazine in Korea.
I feel comfortable with translating 3,000
words a day. Having enough time for each project is preferred but I work with
shorter deliveries as well when necessary.
Many of the end-customers requested me as the
translator to work for them again.
One of my clients told me that my works win them follow-up projects.
