I’m a Swedish citizen who grew up on the West coast of Norway and have been living in the Basque Country in Northern Spain for the past 16 years. I hold an academic degree as a journalist from the Gothenburg University and used to work as a sports writer in Sweden before falling head over heels in love in San Sebastián on a surfing trip here back in 2003. Being in Spain enabled me to re-invent myself and after learning Spanish I slowly worked my way into the tourist and language business and now I have a little travel agency where I focus on active experiences for the Scandinavian and American market, mostly hiking and biking.

I also do translating and create traveler's guides as a freelance for tour operators and of course produce all the content for my own web pages and social media in Swedish, English and Spanish. I do everything including creating tours and experiences, marketing, guiding, maintaining my websites, making content for social media and of course communicating with clients from all over the world, mostly in English and Spanish apart from my native Swedish. Coming from an international background has obviously helped me and my academic training has been rewarding but what I’m most proud is the fact that I have a wide variety of experience from different fields and different countries.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m very versatile, I work hard and I’m used to working to deadlines and handling a lot of responsibility. I’m good with words and I’m used to writing texts and articles on a regular basis and I know how to sell an experience and inspire people.
