I am a translator with over a year of both paid and unpaid experience to date, along with extensive experience with communications, including proposal writing, PR coordination, business report writing, online customer service and authoring books. 

My past work experience has been in the fields of tourism, cultural events, advertising and marketing consulting, higher education, social services and local government and even EU funding programs. 

I am a native English speaker born and raised in Canada and have been fluent in Swedish for over 10 years. I have studied and worked in Sweden and Denmark for a few years and continue to travel internationally to Sweden on an annual or bi-annual basis. I have recently taken online photography/hobby courses in the Swedish language and I have also been a board member of the Swedish Cultural society of Vancouver for a few years too.
