Source text - English Il vetro monolitico è un materiale fragile, ma se filato a diametri d’ordine inferiore al decimo di millimetro perde la sua caratteristica fragilità per divenire un materiale ad elevata resistenza meccanica e resilienza. Altri pregi sono: resisenza alla corrosione, eccellenti proprietà ottiche ed elettriche e buon isolamento termico e acustico. Di contro possiedono una resistenza a fatica e un modulo elastico modesti.
Translation - Italian Monolithic glass is a fragile material, but if spun with diameters of less than a tenth of a millimetre, it loses its distinctive fragility and becomes a material with a high mechanical strength and great resilience. It offers other advantages, such as: corrosion resistance, excellent optical and electrical properties and good thermal and acoustic insulation. On the other hand, it features modest fatigue strength and a low modulus of elasticity.

I graduated in Modern Languages and Cultures from the University of Calabria in 2018 and obtained an MA in Language, Society and Communication from the University of Bologna in 2021.
