I think of it as recapturing the unique essence of x's spirit as a company and ensuring we win in the 21st century.
So what do we do to achieve this goal?
To ensure we rebuild that brand position.
There are three initiatives already identified by Dr y:
The first is understanding and focusing on the viewpoint of our customers.
The second is the front-line reinforcement of our operational strengths – through the z Initiative – to support our all-important sales and marketing and production and design engineering functions.

Zwischenzeitlich hatte ich bereits einen zweiten Text von einem anderen Kunden, wo ich Front-Line gelassen habe. Beide Klienten haben "Front-Line" bestätigt. Ich möchte mich aber trotzdem bedanken und gebe den Punkt an die mir am wenigsten widerstrebende Antwort."

: Hallo Brigitte, bei aller Ehre, aber "vorderste Linie" hat während meiner Vertriebszeit kein VB gesagt, bestenfalls "Front", übrigens der Kunde ist doch kein "Feind"! // Ja, diese Vertriebler kenne ich auch, hast Recht, aber der Wind hat gedreht;-)

Den ersten Teil akzeptiere ich ohne Frage, aber ich habe selbst schon einige Vertriebsleute erlebt, die Kunden eher als Feinde als sonst etwas betrachten. Das war im Konsumgüterbereich und in Zeiten, als Verkäufer noch hochmütig sein konnten ...
