Norwegian term
t
Norwegian to English

Specification for electrical work. Listing of works, in which the abbreviation "t" is used for plasterboards and timber framing. I think it refers to "tykkelse", but not 100% sure. Some examples:
Bindingsverk, enkelt, for innvervegg , c/c 600, t = 100
Gipsplate, på innervegg, t = 13 mm

Yes, your hunch is thoroughly valid, Brigid! ;)
The "t = 13 mm" for the plaster board is a good give-away as well!

Note from asker:
Thanks, Roald. I was sure it must be, but what made me a tiny bit uncertain was that this also referred to the timber framing, where I expected more than just that one dimension to be given (i.e. thickness and breadth). Better safe than sorry.... |
