I've got cramps
pretty much says it all (as long as it's ok to use informal speech)
Peer comment(s):
disagree |
Roxanna Delgado
: This is way too general. You get cramps also when you have your menstrual period. In this case "area cervical" means "neck", not "cervix of the uterus".

a muscle contraction in my upper vertebrae left me with a stiff neck
In English you don't usually use these vague expressions so common in Spanish, as in "área cervical," one has to be more specific.
Peer comment(s):
neutral |
Roxanna Delgado
: That's why I suggested using "neck", but within the informality of the document (Me dejó tiesa), I don't think they would use "upper vertebrae". I mean who normally talks like that?

:) Point conceded. But a normal person hears "cervical" and they think: cervix.
