several possibilities

Hi Isabelle,

It's hard to tell without more context but a Google search for PPA + réadaptation physique turned up several possibilities:

Prosthetic Profile of the Amputee
http://www.sciencedirect.com/science?_ob=ArticleURL&_udi=B6V...

Programme de Promotion de l'Autonomie
http://www.chsldcoeur-du-quebec.qc.ca/pdf/BULLETIN D'IN...

Personnes en Perte d'Autonomie.

There is also a drug, phenylpropanolamine, abbreviated as PPA. So there are various possibilities. Depends which one fits the rest of your doc.

But the more I look at it, the more I think it might be an insurance code for treatment. Haven't yet managed to locate it, but maybe that's the direction to look in.

By the way I think "C2 to D8" is probably a typo for "C2 to T8", i.e. cervical and thoracic spinal segments.

neutral Lionel_M (X) : Programme de Promotion de l'Autonomie at cervical or lumbar level ??? Does not make sens.

neutral Trinh Do : There was no mention of amputation.

PPA = Plan Pelvien Antérieur
Peer comment(s):

disagree Trinh Do : The report has to do with the spinal cord, and the pelvic area is located around the hip.

paroxystic painful accesses

accès douloureux paroxystiques (ADP) : paroxystic painful accesses (PPA)

Peer comment(s):

neutral transdoctor (X) : "paroxystic painful accesses" is a machine translation of "accès douloureux paroxystiques" - in English we would say "paroxysmal pain (attack)" which is a symptom and not a clinical sign (examination finding)

OK Doc, thanks for the explanation !
neutral Trinh Do : I came across this site before. But "douleur" means "pain" already; so this entry is like repetition.

Peak to peak amplitude

Declined
I guess it has something to do with the amplitude of a medical scan. It is quite a common term in statistics.

It is also commonly used in neurophysiological stimulation.
Example sentence:

Statistical analysis showed significant differences between groups for peak to peak amplitude (PPA) at 25, 35 and 45 min (Kruskal-Wallis: P = 0.01, 001 and 002).

Mann-Whitney U-tests indicated a significant increase in PPA in the IFT group compared with all other groups at 25 and 35 min and compared with the TENS and APS groups at 45 min. No significant differences were found for the MPT data.
