neutral Tony M : Not quite! these are in fact special little 'ball' feet that allow things to slide around more easily; I think it's a proprietary term; there are various types, including PTFE pad ones

neutral chaplin : I do not think they are castors but some device stuck on the legs to help transport or to avoid scratching a surface generally you can stick them on a bit like the felt pads

Les Patins

Pour les patins, j'ai essayé, comme beaucoup, des "patins glisseurs" pour meubles, genre Glissdome/GPI à la place des patins d'origine. Compter 3/4 Euros pour 16 patins de diamère 17 mm. Réduire éventuellement l'épaisseur pour que l'optique de votre souris ne se retrouve pas hors focus.

Pour le film adhesif teflon, on se le procure chez, chez,... glop, trou de memoire, je regarderai demain au boulot, c'est le fournisseur de la machine a filmer, ce sont des rouleaux de quelques metres (dizaine ?), il y a deux formats, un peu plus d'un centimetre de large et un d'une douzaine de centimetres de large. Ca permet d'eviter d'avoir du film qui reste colle sur la forme (un film electrique) au moment de la decoupe/soudure du film.

neutral Tony M : I think this is one of those cases where even though a proprieatary name has become generalized in one language (like Hoover for vacuum cleaner in BE), if it isn't well-known in the target lang., it's best to translate. cf. rylsan, chatterton, fenwick...
