Spanish term

con todos los pronunciamientos favorables

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general) criminal trial Spain
.-En idéntico trámite ,la Defensa jurídica del procesado-acusado- XXXXXXX, elevó a definitivas sus conclusiones provisionales, y,en primer lugar, solicitó la libre absolución de su patrocinado ,con todos los pronunciamientos favorables ,al negar su participación en los hechos incriminados,y con carácter subsidiario, interesó que fuese apreciada,la exneción de responsabilidad criminal sustentada en el error de prohibición invencible del art. 14.3 del C.Penal,

seems to be something like" with all kinds of favourable decisions", but I´m not sure if that´s correct.

Discussion

Sandro Tomasi Jun 24, 2013:
Pronunciamiento Thanks for confirming pronunciamiento, Toni. I see now that it is not a ruling or decision.
Toni Castano Jun 24, 2013:
Exactly. Hitting the bull´s eye.
Sandro Tomasi Jun 24, 2013:
Pronunciamientos favorables So is this what the parties submitted to the court on the record for the court's consideration?
Sandro Tomasi Jun 24, 2013:
Never heard of "pronouncement" at crim-pro law Sorry, but I have never seen the term "pronouncement" used in English for criminal procedure law.
Toni Castano Jun 24, 2013:
Pronunciamientos favorables (or desfavorables) In the case of "pronunciamientos favorables", this means that the whole evidence speaks in favour of an acquittal. The opposite expression, i.e. "pronunciamientos desfavorables" is seldom (or never) used, for judges tend to resort to this expression rather in a positive context, I mean in cases of acquittal. It is a set phrase.
