Pensando melhor, a escolha entre "comitê" e "comissão" vai depender se o tal "Executive Committee" tem poder e autoridade para solucionar e controlar os problemas. É possível que sim.
Responderá à Comissão Executiva e deverá acatar as suas orientações.

Quanto ao timing do meu comentário, achei apenas que devia acrescentar esta informação da distinção entre Estatuto e Regulamento por considerá-la pertinente e útil, sobretudo para o futuro ;). Um resto de bom dia para si!
NOTE: again, the best would be to review the law in this association's country: what does this committee do, what's its place in an association's hierarchy? From what I've seen in European associations, the executive committee IS the direção here, but you should be sure it's the same in your country...
Em relação à utilização do Acordo Ortográfico ou não, dependendo da localização da associação em África ou não, penso que não está inteiramente correta. O importante é a variante linguística/país de destino da tradução. Ora, o colega referiu "Português Europeu"... Se é para Portugal, aplica-se o AO; se o doc se destina a um PALOP, será diferente.

Also, please know that if the Association is located in a Portuguese speaking African country, the old spelling rules of Portuguese should be used, i.e., if you decide to use the term "direção", please use "direcção" instead.
