Stretch Handles and Dimension Attributes

Stretch handles are objects used in symbol construction. They can be placed in masters or shapes to allow for a manipulation of the size of shapes in diagrams. Depending on the properties set for the stretch handle, the shape size can be changed either in horizontal or in vertical direction, or in both directions simultaneously.

The new property values are saved and the dialog closed. The orientation of the stretch handle now indicates, if the shape can be manipulated either in horizontal or in vertical direction, or in both directions simultaneously. The color of the stretch handle now indicates, if no item dimensions can be manipulated (green), if at least one item dimension can be manipulated (red), or if the item dimensions cannot be manipulated because the stretch handle is not active (black).

Data changes with respect to the item (server side), e.g. enacted by an alphanumeric client, effect shape representation and shape position, if at least Modify size at item check-box is checked.
