Here I think the word "showcase" is being used to say that these people not only have all the best instruments "on show in cases but can also "deal" , i.e. explain all the advantages of each type and how to best customise the instrument. So they ( the dealers) themselves are worthy of being put in a showcase as an example of excellence. They are simply the best in the market at what they do
dealer =seller/vendor and perhaps also trader as they are also going to help the customer "trade up" to an even better instrument
