If the qualifier "d'études" is given to distinguish this brevet from another type of brevet – say. from a patent – then "diploma" might work, depending on the level of studies. "Diploma" works fairly well through the high school level.

I'm giving a few options as there is no context given as to age or anything but am assuming this is a brevet = English GCSE, that French students take before either leaving school or continuing on to lycée (Senior High School) and their equivalent of the High School Diploma or A levels= the baccalauréat général Or Bac.
