As an engineer with over 15 years of experience in the computer industry, Marcia worked on software and hardware development teams, as well as on training departments in some leader companies of the IT market. Her responsibilities included technical writing, translation, review and QA of project documents, equipment manuals, training courses material, technical standards, bulletins and other technical materials. She worked for three years in a translation agency and was responsible for the management of the technical translation area. From 1998 to 2001, as a free-lance translator, she was part of a team of Brazilian translators for the translation of SAP training material. Since then, ERP has been an integral part of her translation projects, including the translation of J.D. Edwards ERP manuals. Her international background includes training and working in the US, where she lived during 4 years. She has clients in the US, Canada, Portugal, Spain, Ireland, France, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Taiwan, and Brazil. She is an ATA member.
