Hello, I am a freelance translator (French, Hatian Creole and English) and I'm looking to become a certified medical interpreter. I live in NY and would like to know where I could go for training.
Thank you in advance for the help.

You might want to contact Dr. Milena Savova at NYU SCPS

They will have a 4-week intensive course in French Simultaneous interpreting in the summer. Even though it will not focus on medical learning, the skills would certainly help, especially in view of the fact that there are really no programs in French medical.
Good luck, Elana

NY isn't too far from French speaking Canada?
