" "The Commission also considers that the telephone companies' interest coverage ratios have increased significantly over the years, increasing from an average of approximately 2.8 in 1995 to 3.3 in 1996, and will reach an estimated 3.8 in 1997. Bell specifically has increased its earnings coverage from 2.6 times in 1995 to 3.1 times in 1996, and anticipates 3.7 times in 1997. http://www.crtc.gc.ca/fra/archive/1998/dt98-2.htm |

Réfs : The dividend cover ratio shows the number of times that the current earnings cover the ordinary dividend which has been paid or is proposed http://books.google.fr/books?id=BvD4FtMWAloC&pg=PA128&lpg=PA... I analyse three different features of a company to judge whether its dividend can continue to rise: 1. Dividend cover: earnings cover the dividend more than twice http://www.fool.co.uk/news/investing/company-comment/2012/07... |
