(1) If there is no power present on the CTIS Control Panel. Make sure that the BLACKOUT+ wire on the power harness is connected to the vehicle’s blackout switch. Blackout+ wire must get 24VDC for the CTIS Control Panel to turn on. If you remove the 24vdc supply, then the CTIS Control Panel goes into blackout mode and appears to be off.

Es un cable que lleva energía DC, corriente continua, desde el Panel de Control CTIS y está conectado a un interruptor que se activa en caso de falla eléctrica; en caso de no estar conectado y haber una falla, el panel quedará como si estuviera apagado a pesar de haber energía de respaldo (Blackout = falla eléctrica).

Asumo que es un cable que está identificado así, de fábrica, por lo que, para mi, resulta inconveniente cambiar la denominación en un manual.

Si es estrictamente necesario traducirlo, usaría falla eléctrica en lugar de blackout (cuando no está acompañado del + debería traducirse así).
