Severe Weather Emergency plan
This project may be impacted by severe weather emergencies during its lifecycle. The following Severe Weather Emergency Plan is a guide for preparations, staffing and communications as a major storm (i.e., tornado, hurricane, tropical storm, or blizzard) approaches and passes through the immediate project area so that personnel and property losses are minimal.
Pre-seasonal preparations should be completed prior to June 01 each year. Periodic bulletins and updates will be issued via normal communications.
Operations will be safely shut down before the arrival of dangerous winds. Personnel who are not assigned to Severe Weather Duty Team will be released in stages to safely evacuate the project Site.
