Noni Gilbert Riley Dec 20, 2010:
Lydia's idea... ...makes a great deal of sense. I wasn't thinking in that direction, and her suggestion actually feels just right.
Lydia De Jorge Dec 20, 2010:
Typo? IMO it should say 'I ALWAYS thought of...'
Laura Gómez (asker) Dec 20, 2010:
While based in London for several years, I was thought of the remark made by Dean Acheson that Britain’s loss of empire left it without a role.
This remark, which continues to resonate in Britain, could now be applied to Europe also

"I was thought of as a hard-working girl" sería:
"Se me consideraba una chica trabajadora"
Espero que te sirva.
Un saludo, M

me hizo pensar en

Aquí falta algo. Si bien es cierto que existe el giro "I was thought to be" en el sentido de "se me consideraba", aquí no es el caso.

While based in London for several years, I was thought of the remark made by : debería leerse algo como "I was made to think of / I often thought of / I was put in mind of"

Muchas gracias, Noni :)

I frequently thought of...

Podria ser como sugiere Lydia 'I always thought of' o 'I frequently thought of.
