Context:

The minimum capitalization value of property, plant and equipment will be AED 2,000 / Unit. Any purchases/additions of property, plant and equipment of less than AED 2,000 will be expensed in the year of purchase.

They can be expensed in the year incurred and are outside the scope of this policy. They are covered by standard procurement policy and procedures.
